Club plans Youth Appreciation fete The Azle Optimist Club will hold its 31st annual Youth Appreciation Banquet Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Forte Junior High, 479 Sandy Beach Road.
Two students from each school will be recognized for achievement inside and outside the classroom.
Guest speaker will be Mike Hall of Strong Fathers/Strong Families. Tickets for the event may be purchased at the door and are $8 for adults and $6 for children.
