It got a little shaky there at the end, but the 2009-10 Hornet basketball season opened with a win. Azle (1-0) hosted Stephenville, a team that beat AHS by 15 points last year. This time around, the Hornets led the entire game, often by double digits, and won 50-47.Full Story |

The 2009 football season certainly ended well for the Azle Hornets. After playing Boswell close and leading Saginaw at the half, AHS (3-7, 2-5) beat archrival Springtown then ended the season with a 30-10 thumping of Mineral Wells.Full Story |
