Azle singer earns first at NATS

Maddy Witt of Azle sang her way to first place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Texoma Region, high school division in Lubbock on Saturday, Nov. 7.
She also recently qualified for the third round of the Texas Music Educators Association All-State competition in Stephenville, Oct. 31.
Witt studies voice with Darlene Marks of Fort Worth. She is a senior at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and a member of the Singing Girls of Texas. She is the daughter of Steve and Jane Witt.
